Do you take insurance, and how does that work?

I feel that coordination of healthcare services begins with clear and accurate communication about financial issues. I am dedicated to providing the best possible treatment for my clients, and my fees are usual and customary within our area. So that you understand what portion of services will be covered by insurance and what portion you are responsible for, we encourage you to clarify your benefit information prior to beginning treatment. I accept most insurance plans, and our services are usually eligible for FSA and HAS reimbursement. Please call us if you are unsure about whether your insurance plan covers Pleshe Counseling Services .My billing office can check your benefits to see what your coverage is.

I can file claims with your insurance carrier. Please know that all charges are the responsibility of the client, regardless of your insurance coverage. Deductible and co-pay payments may be due at time of service. Because there are many insurers and many plans it is important that you verify your coverage for out-patient mental health benefits. Also, many insurers have higher deductibles and/or co-pays for out-of-network provider.

I am in network with many insurance plans, including:

  • BCBS

  • Aetna

  • Health EOS

  • Auxiant

  • Trilogy

NOTE: Although I am out of network with United Health Care, and a few other local companies it always pays to check as some plans offer both, in-network and out-of-network benefits.

Payment options and fees:

We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.

Please ask about private pay or sliding fee scale, if you do not have coverage or what you are coming to therapy for is not covered by your plan. (For example, couples or marital is not a covered benefit by many carriers).
